Take Fitness by Force!

Take Fitness by force and begin September with the Word in your work-out!  John 1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  Begin September with God’s Word!  Matthew 11:12 says “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”  That simply means, constantly speak the word of God and put pressure on heaven, forcing the Kingdom of God to move on your behalf!

Did you know that you have the authority as a believer in God and his Word to speak to your mountains without doubt and they would be removed? Mark 11:23 says, “That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass,  He shall have whatever he says!” Now that’s force! Above all God wants us to prosper and be in health according to III John 2.   Let’s Welcome September, speak to the mountains of fear, anxiety, obesity, heart disease and whatever is in your way and take fitness by force!

Welcome all the new beginnings September brings…New,

Schedules ~ School is back in session, summer is over, things have changed and so has your schedule.  In order to effectively take fitness by force and keep your work-outs in your schedule, remember to make the best use of your time.  Ephesians 5:16 says “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  To stay on schedule, plan your work-outs and work-out your plan!

Endurance ~ When your schedule is challenging and it seems you don’t have the strength to endure, speak II Timothy 2:3 during your work-out.  “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”  A great confession would be “I endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Priorities ~ As you endure hardness, make sure to keep your priorities in order.  Keep first things first!  After you prioritize, focus on one task at a time.  Matthew 6:33 says “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  This includes  a prioritized schedule.

Testimonies ~ With each new beginning comes a new trial, experience and sacrifice.  You will discover new testimonies along the way. Psalms 19:7 says, “The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”  So be sure to share the testimonies God has given you in order to help someone else.  You will also overcome by the word of your testimony according to Rev 12:11.  There is power there!  When you help others, you help yourself.

Exercises ~ Ready for some new exercises? I Timothy 4:7 says, “Bodily exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable unto all things.”  You will get a little profit from exercising, but if you put the word on it, the results are guaranteed according to verse 8.  Now that’s exciting!!!  With every new exercise speak the word of God over it.  Remember, God watches over His word ready to perform it!

Momentum ~ Keep your new momentum fueled with the word of God.  For example, if you’re doing chest presses you could say, “I press to the mark of the high calling…” For Lat Pull Downs, you could simply say, “I’m pulling down strong holds and anything that exalts itself above the knowledge of God.”  Philippians 4:13 is one of favorites “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”  It’s also a perfect 10 count*

Beginnings ~ As you begin this month with God’s word; you will become a NEW creature in Christ.  II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become NEW.”  Now that’s exciting!

Encouragement ~ You can encourage yourself this month just like David encouraged himself in the Lord. I Samuel 30:6, “But David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.”  This new source of encouragement will take you to NEW levels in your work-outs!!!

Resistance ~ With all the new changes in September, new temptations may surface.  Unhealthy convenient food may tempt you, if you’re short on time; skipping a work-out because you’re tired or even treating yourself too soon may tempt you.  Just remember to put the word of God in your work-out and resist!!! James 4:7 says “Resist Satan and he will flee.” Embrace September and all of its newness!  Congratulations on the first step of taking Fitness by Force!
