Put the Word on It

Whatever challenges you are facing, there is a word!
The word works-out! The next time you work-out, instead of counting, speak God’s word over yourself. Since God watches over His word ready to perform it, and angels hearken to the voice of God’s word, put the word on it!

So what’s the word? Are you tired? Do you lack energy? Don’t have anyone to be held
accountable to? Would a little guidance and direction get you on track?

Follow these simple and practical instructions and watch God work it out!  Put the word in the work-out! How many times have you taken any type of fitness class and the instructor counts the entire way through?  “Well how else are we to keep up with the count you?” may ask.  Where there is a will, there is a way and it is God’s will for you to prosper
in your health.  There is nothing wrong with counting during a class, however since we are citizens in the Kingdom of Heaven and we have benefits, let’s benefit off of the word.

God has given us authority to use His word.  His word is forever settled in heaven; therefore we must establish it on earth.  One way of establishing it is to put it in our work-outs and speak it over ourselves. Remember, He is only moved by His word.  Not your sweat and not even your tears…it’s His word.

So the next time you train, take a class or find yourself working out, speak the word.  A great place to start is to simply say “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” It’s a perfect count of 10.  If you’re doing 3 sets of 10 say it 3 times.

God is ready to move on your behalf and He takes pleasure in you prospering in your health, however you must do your part.  Give Him something to work with.

As a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, there have been numerous times when I simply did not have the natural or physical ability or strength to endure a session or class.  However, after praying and welcoming the Holy Spirit to come and have His way, I
found the strength and endurance to do everything that needed to be done through His word.  There was an abundant supply of everything I needed!

I am convinced that the word works-out!  The word of God not only works, it wins! It walks! It wakes! It will never fail! It will do exactly what it says it will do! Woo-Hoo! That’s
exciting!!!! So let’s get started.

Decide how many sets and repetitions each exercise will consist of.  Afterwards
get the specific word for the exercise and speak it as you work-out.  That’s how you put the word on it!

Encourage yourself like David did and put the word on it!
Here are a few of my favorite’s words to work-out to…

Instead of counting to 5 say… (James 2:17)
“Faith without works is dead”

A good count of 7 would be…
“All my help comes from the Lord”

A strong count of 8 would be… (Nehemiah 8:10)
“The joy of the Lord is my strength”

A perfect count of 10 is … (Philippians 4:13)
“I can do all things though Christ which strengthens me”

Be a disciple with 12 and say…  (Ephesians 6:10)
“I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”

That’s right; put the word in your work-out!  Since God watches over His word ready to perform it, give Him something to work with.  You will find that as you sow to the spirit, God will give you the perfect word. The Holy Spirit
will at times bring a word to remembrance.  You may not have planned on saying it, but receive it.  The Holy Spirit
leads and guides in all truth. So what’s the word?
