Here is what he had to share with us:
1. What motivated you to start the workout DVD? I was motivated to start a workout DVD because I wanted to stay fit and healthy and encourage others to get fit.
2. Do you have family members that struggle with weight or chronic disease? I do not have any family members that struggle with weight or chronic disease that I know of.
3. What are the biggest pressures that you face as a ten year old to eat unhealthy foods? The biggest unhealthy food I enjoy to eat are gummy worms.
4. What is your favorite workout and how often do you do it? My favorite workout is working out to my Workout Kid DVD. I usually workout to the video at last 3 days a week.
5. Besides the DVD, how do you encourage your peers to stay active? I encourage my peers to stay active by showing them some simple exercises that they can do that will help keep them in shape.
6. What part did your parents play in teaching you about the importance of activity? My parents have always encouraged me to go outside and stay active for at least one hour a day.
7. What are your favorite foods to eat? My favorite food is grilled Turkey Burgers.
8. How do you and your parents incorporate healthy eating into your workouts? My parents taught me the importance of eating healthy foods like vegetables and fruits and to always drink plenty of water.
9. What are your goals in life? My goals in life are to win the fight against childhood obesity, become an actor and a professional football player.
